Kanye West hasn’t learned the lesson YET! The rapper is not exactly excited Britney Spears’ new hit “Hold It Against Me” is actually selling more than his latest masterpiece, “H.A.M” featuring Jay-Z, on iTunes. So Kanye took to his Twitter to make a not-so-funny joke about the #1 and #2 spots.
Kanye West Says He Spawned Taylor Swift’s Success
Kanye tweeted, “Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z’s single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL.” Are we laughing? NO! Kanye must have gotten some hate tweets in response to that tweet and it has already been completely deleted.
Britney’s manager Adam Leber sarcastically replied to the rapper, saying, “Thanks for ‘letting’ us be #1. Much appreciated.” TAKE THAT, douchebag! Seriously, I really don’t get why Kanye has this huge “God” complex. He needs to let it go and accept the fact that we LOVE Britney (… even when she lip-synchs and acts like a total trainwreck!).
Kanye West’s “Runaway” 30-Minute Film/Music Video
Kanye had to apologize for his silly joke. He wrote, “On a serious note I’m truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears… No hate in 2011! I thought LOL signified a joke… I didn’t get the 2011 LOL doesn’t signify a joke anymore memo… LOL or something else I guess.”
Blah. Kanye is as happy for Britney as he was for Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMA’s (more details HERE).
