Actor John Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, have officially introduced their new bundle of joy, baby Benjamin Travolta, on the cover of the latest issues of People Magazine and UK’s HELLO! (see covers above). Benjamin was born on November 23, 2010.

The couple reveals they had been trying to get pregnant for more than three years and the new baby is like a “miracle” in their lives after all they had been through with their son Jet Travolta’s tragic death.

“He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose,” says the 56 year-old actor. Big sister Ella Bleu is also very excited. The family is currently enjoying the baby’s first months at their home in Ocala, Florida.

The 31 year-old actress is 14 weeks pregnant and happy to finally be able to give her 7 year-old son Ryder, whose father is rocker Chris Robinson, a little brother or sister. Kate apparently did not plan to get knocked up, but it just happened.

“It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it,” the source reveals to Us. “Kate is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister.”

Kate has a very long list of romantic relationships. In fact, the actress clearly has a problem with being alone, but to get pregnant now seems quite irresponsible. Anyway, we wish Kate found the one and the two live happily ever after.

Model Miranda Kerr and her husband, actor Orlando Bloom, have welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy, who reportedly weighed in at nearly 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms), at a hospital in Los Angeles on Friday (January 7).

The Australian model’s parents, Theresa and John Kerr, have already flown to meet their grandson. According to Herald Sun, Miranda’s grandmother Ann Kerr both new mommy and the huge baby boy are doing “very well”. Daddy Bloom is over the moon!

Colombian singer Shakira and her longtime boyfriend Antonio de la Rue have broken up last summer after dating for more than eleven years. The 33 year-old singer revealed she is officially single and the decision was mutual.

“Since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship,” she wrote on her website. “Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand, have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until now.”

“We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives,” she wrote. “Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.”

Adds an insider, “There was no big drama, it’s just one of those things where they had been together a long time and realized they were more friends and business partners than lovers. It’s sad, but they could get back together. They just needed a break.”

Antonio and Shakira, who says the two had “the most wonderful years” together, seem to care a lot about each other, but that is not enough to maintain a romantic relationship. They probably need a break to realize they already act like an old married couple.

Singer/“Going Platinum” co-host Jewel and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, have announced they are expecting their first child after trying to conceive for almost two years. The 36 year-old wanted to wait until the second trimester to share the happy news with her fans.

“I have always been a workaholic, so I had to learn how to slow down and take care of myself in a different way,” Jewel says about her struggle to conceive.

“I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!” the singer told PEOPLE. “It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, ‘Oh, she’s pregnant.’” Jewel added, “I’m trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy. I feel really lucky.”

Ty and Jewel, who released a collection of children’s songs last year and is now working on a new album, tied the knot in the Bahamas back in 2008. The couple is currently remodeling their ranch in Texas to welcome the bundle of joy.

Ted ‘The Golden Voice’ Williams, who became a  You Tube sensation just last week for his amazing radio voice, was detained by police last night at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood Monday night after getting into a yelling argument with his daughter.

“LAPD responded to a disturbance call at the Renaissance Hotel at about 9 p.m. [Monday] night,” police spokesman Bruce Borihanh tells The Hollywood Reporter. “An investigation was conducted and two indiviudals were transferred to the Hollywood station. No one was arrested or booked for any crime in relation to this incident. After a short investigtation, police determined no crime was committed by either party… Nobody wanted to press charges.”

Hopefully, Williams who has been homeless and battled drugs and alcohol can stay out of trouble with the law and enjoy the golden opportunity he has been given.

The History Channel’s eight-part miniseries The Kennedys has been cancelled due to pressure from the Kennedy family. The network added that the series is “not a fit for the History brand.” It was set to air in the spring, starring Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy, and Greg Kinear as iconic President John F. Kennedy.

In a statement Friday, Muse Entertainment and Asylum Entertainment, who co-produced the miniseries, said:

“We are proud of the work all of our talent put into the making of The Kennedys and the painstaking efforts that went into creating a drama that is compelling while rich in historic detail. Although we regret this does not fit into the History Channel’s plans, we are confident that television viewers in the United States will join viewers from around the world in having an opportunity to watch this series in the near future.”

Before the cancellation was announced, Holmes spoke to Elle Magazine about how excited she was to be stepping into the former First Lady’s shoes:

“I worked as hard as I could because I loved her. On set there was this feeling that we had to create something very special, because these people were very special.”

The Kennedys is still scheduled to air on Canadian TV in March. It will also air in about 30 other foreign countries and markets, including Britain, Italy, Spain, Britain, Norway, Sweden, Australia and Japan

It was not a secret David and Victoria wanted to expand the family and wished to finally have a baby girl. The couple has three sons, Brooklyn (11), Romeo (8) and Cruz (5). They all deserve to finally welcome the much-desired Beckham princess.
