Former “Miss America” host Gary Collins was arrested for allegedly defrauding an innkeeper after he left the Jazzeppi’s Restaurant without paying his dinner ($59.35 bill) at around 10:40 pm in Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday (January 4).

Gary probably thinks he is a celebrity therefore he might have expected people would just gladly offer him an expensive meal, which included the $40 Chef’s steak specialty and “some alcohol”. The restaurant employees showed him the bill and even followed him out to the parking lot, but Gary didn’t seem to get the message.

Bad luck. In the state of Mississippi refusing to pay a bill for anything over $25 is a felony. So Gary was arrested and held on $5,000 bail. OUCH! That was one heck of an expensive Mississippi meal.

Absolutely incredible! Being a completely lunatic LOST fan finally pays off in the Mega Millions Lottery, if you used Hurley’s lottery numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42). HOW?

In a recent interview promoting his latest movie, Blue Valentine, Ryan Gosling told a true story about a couple that he broke up.

Technically.

Allegedly, his character — Noah — in the Notebook is to blame for ending the relationship between a nameless boy and girl in real life.

Ryan said:

“People would come up to me and tell me that they thought [The Notebook] was romantic, but one guy told me that he was engaged and [his fiancée] broke up with him after that movie because she said to him, ‘You wouldn’t build a house for me [like the lead character does], would you?’”

Hint: the answer is yes.

Ryan continued:

“He was like, ‘Well, no, but I don’t know how.’ She said, ‘But if you knew how?’ He said, ‘No, I wouldn’t. But it doesn’t mean I don’t love you.’ She said, ‘Yeah, it does.’ And she called it off.”

Hmm, if he wouldn’t go the length of building a fictional house for his lady, maybe it wasn’t meant to be afterall.

Ryan stars alongside Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine, which is now playing in select theaters.

Funny man Russell Brand will appear on Nickelodeon‘s Big Time Rush: Beach Party, an episode-movie airing in February.

The episode will have other guest stars, including Tom Kenny, Brian Maddox and Clayton Johnson from the band Stereo Skyline.

Actress Vivica A. Fox is reportedly engaged to marry a 27 year-old club promoter named Omar “Slim” White (pictured above). Omar went down on one knee to propose to the 46 year-old while they were spending some romantic time in South Beach, Florida on December 26.

Vivica was first seen with a big 8-karat engagement ring at LeBron James’ 26th birthday party in Miami a few days later on December 30. Omar and Vivica, who was previously married to singer Christopher Harvest (from 1998 to 2002), have been dating for a little over a year.

Former NFL star Shaun King was arrested for driving under the influence in Florida on Sunday morning (January 2). The 33 year-old retired quarterback, who played six seasons in the NFL (1990-2004), was forced to pull over at around 2:12 am and refused to take a blood alcohol test.

Shaun was booked and charged for DUI at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. He was finally released at around 10:15 am after posting $500 bail.

Character actor Bill Erwin, who is probably best known for his Emmy-nominated role as Sid Fields on “Seinfeld”, has passed away of natural causes at his home in Studio City, California on Wednesday (December 29, 2010).

The 96 year-old appeared in several acclaimed TV shows, which included “Gunsmoke”, “The Twilight Zone”, “Perry Mason”, “The Golden Girls”, “Growing Pains”, “Who’s the Boss?” and “My Name Is Earl”.

Bill is survived by two sons, Timothy “Toes” and Mike, two daughters, Kelly and Lindsay, eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.
