2011 Super Bowl XLV Kick-Off Time: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers

What time does 2011 Super Bowl XLV start? The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers will battle on the field for the NFL 2010 Championship title in the much anticipated 45th Annual Super Bowl game at the Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas today, Sunday (February 6).

Super Bowl XLV kicks off at 6:30 pm eastern time. The game will be announced by Joe Buck (play-by-play) and analyzed by Troy Aikman on FOX.

Superbowl 2011 Facts: This will be the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers (who hold the record with six Super Bowl wins) and the fifth for the Packers (who hold the record with 12overall NFL titles, including three Super Bowl wins and nine league titles prior to the Super Bowl-era). This will be the fourth time that two pre-expansion era (pre 1960) teams meet in the Super Bowl (XIVXLI, and XLIII).

As of February 2, the Packers are two to three point favorites, making this the first Super Bowl in which the Steelers were underdogs since Super Bowl XXX. In all four previous Super Bowls that Green Bay played in, they were favored to win.
