“Britain’s Got Talent†judge Amanda Holden and her husband, record producer Chris Hughes, lost their unborn baby seven month into pregnancy after she went to the West Middlesex Hospital in London, England on Tuesday (February 1).
Amanda’s spokesperson said: “They are utterly devastated. Amanda had been closely monitored throughout her pregnancy and it is not yet known what went wrong. Both Chris and Amanda would like to thank the midwives and staff at The Queen Mary Maternity unit at West Middlesex Hospital Isleworth for their tremendous support.”
The 39 year-old was rushed to the hospital as soon as she noticed the baby had stopped moving. There was nothing the doctors could have done to save the child. The baby boy was stillborn.
Chris and Amanda had waiting until six months to confirm she was pregnant because she had already suffered a miscarriage last year. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the couple.
