Actress/singer Lea Michele delivered quite a beauty pageanty performance of “America The Beautiful” at the kick-off show before the 2011 Super Bowl XLV (Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers), which was held at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday (February 6)- watch video below.

The 24 year-old “Glee” star did a good job. Well, at least she did not mess up the lyrics like Christina Aguilera did when she took over the stage right after Lea’s performance. However, we were kind of expecting a bit more “soul” in “America The Beautiful”. Maybe next time, do not choose an “actress” to sing something that meaningful.
