Tony Hawk has filed for divorce from his third marriage — this time from wife Lhotse Merriam.

The couple released a joint statement Monday with very little detail (per usual):

“We have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,”

“We remain deeply committed and loving parents to our daughter, and out of respect for that responsibility we ask that people honor our family’s privacy during this important time of transition,”

“Thank you for your understanding.”

Tony and Lhotse have a two-and-a-half year old daughter, Kadence Clover Hawk. Tony has two sons from a previous marriage.

We’re not sure what went wrong here, but if one guess were to serve us well it would be that Tony Hawk might not be marriage material. Sad news either way!
