Singer Lady GaGa gets rid of the typical superstar’s false modesty and hypocrisy to pose in a pink wig for a stunning and artistic photo shoot by Mario Testino featured in the upcoming issue of Vogue Magazine (March 2011)- pictures below.
In the interview, the 24 year-old, who will release the first single “Born This Way” off her new album on Friday (February 11), gets really intense when she compares a concert experience to sex and claims she wants to connect with her fans on a deeper level.
GaGa also believes she is damn good at what she does. I told you… there’s no false modesties with the “Bad Romance” singer. Here are some highlights from GaGa’s Vogue interview:
On performing on stage: “Sometimes, being onstage is like having sex with my fans. They’re the only people on the planet who in an instant can make me just lose it.”
On her “Little Monsters”: “I want to be your cool older sister who you feel really connected with, who you feel understands you and refuses to judge anything about you because she’s been there.”
On her talents: “Speaking purely from a musical standpoint, I think I am a great performer. I am a talented entertainer. I consider myself to have one of the greatest voices in the industry. I consider myself to be one of the greatest songwriters. I wouldn’t say that I am one of the greatest dancers, but I am really quite good at what I do.”
On “Born This Way”: “I wrote it in ten f**king minutes, and it is a completely magical message song. And after I wrote it, the gates just opened, and the songs kept coming. It was like an immaculate conception.”
