The “Shirtless Congressman” Christopher Lee’s wife, Michele Lee, is standing by her husband and willing to work things out after he was caught cheating on her with women he found and “seduced” with lies on Craigslist.

Chris Lee immediately resigned as soon as Yesha Callanhan’s story hit the internet. Yesha is the woman who finally recognized him as a married Congressman and a liar when he sent her a shirtless snap of himself taken in front of the bathroom mirror.

“She’s crushed — this was supposed to be her Prince Charming,” a friend of Michele’s told The New York Post. Michele had been previously married to her high school sweetheart and her marriage had ended when she found out he was cheating on her.

“She picked a bad boy twice, which is a shame, because she’s a smart woman without a mean bone in her body. She’s absolutely humiliated,” said a friend. “She was so proud of him and what he’d accomplished.”

Michele may be humiliated and devastated by her husband’s dirty secrets, but she ran right back to him and joined him at his father, Patrick Lee’s Ocean Reef Club estate in Key Largo, Florida. For how long will they stay together until she finally filed for divorce?

“Patrick is mortified, [and] pushed his son to resign immediately to curtail any extended embarrassment for the family,” the source said. “He said, ‘End it quick.’ “
