Alice In Chains’ Bassist Mike Starr Arrested (Mugshot)
Former Alice In Chains bassist, Mike Starr, who starred on the third season of “Celebrity Rehab” in 2009, was arrested for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday (February 17).

The 44 year-old was allegedly carrying an unmarked bottle of prescription drugs, which contained 6 pills of a painkiller called Opana and another 6 pills of the infamous anti-anxiety drug, Xanax.
Since Mike did not have a prescription of either drug, he was promptly arrested for two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. According to police reports, Mike pulled the ridiculous “Do You Know Who I Am Card?”
Mike said something like: “Hey officer, have you heard of Alice in Chains? I used to be the base [sic] guitarist for them. We are down here in Utah. Me and Travis are putting together a new band.”
Mike hasn’t been released from jail yet. He is being held on a $20,000 bail.
