The 23 year-old spa concierge from Colton, Califronia stood out when he performed “Get Ready” in a group with Top 24 Naima Adedapo (watch video here) before he knocked it out of the park with a powerful rendition of “God Bless The Child” during the Hollywood Week (watch video here). In Vegas, Jacob reunited with Naima and Haley Reinhart to perform “The Long and Winding Road” (watch video here).
American Idol 10 SHOCKING Eliminations: Dramatic Green Mile Episode!
Back in Los Angeles, the Top 40 survivors from the Beatles challenge were given one more chance to perform solo and impress the judges before their final decision. After a dramatic, emotional and shocking Green Mile episode, only the Top 24 contestants will be judged by the public at home next week.

This is the most talented group of guys EVER!!!!!!!! Fantasia didn’t make me cry until she sang “Summertime”, but Jacob Lusk got me tonight. He is the next Jennifer Hudson guy style. I am so glad he came to Idol first before he got lost in Broadway and the entire world would have missed the prevelidge of witnessing a fanamana. All this and it’s just the first live show. I got so excited and I’m a 61 year old lover of GOOOOD!!!! singing. I dont think the girls have a chance this year of being in the top three.
