At her first audition in Nashville, the 22 year-old office manager was told she had an incredible instrument, but she needed to give more of herself on stage. Kendra surprised with a fantastic rendition of “Georgia In My Mind” during the Hollywood Week (watch video here) and delivered the sweetest perfect performance of “Blackbird” with Paul McDonald in Las Vegas (watch video here).

Back in Los Angeles, the Top 40 survivors from the Beatles challenge were given one more chance to perform solo and impress the judges before their final decision. After a dramatic, emotional and shocking Green Mile episode, only the Top 24 contestants will be judged by the public at home next week.

Kendra Chantelle should be proud of her accomplishments on American Idol. I thought both she and Haley Reinhardt deserved to make the TOP 13….They are both special,with lots of talent and ‘smoke’!! Both ladies know how to use their ‘charm’, their vocal talent and deliver interesting performances!! I was sad that she wasn’t’ ‘saved’ with a wildcard spot.
(I had also thought Julie Zorilla was going to be given another opportunity on the Wild Card.)
