Rachel Zevita rocked the stage with a rendition of Lady GaGa’s “Speechless” for a place in the semifinals at the American Idol season 10 Green Mile – Top 24 decision – in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (February 24)- watch video below.

Rachel auditioned for Idol back in 2006, but was sent home after the first round of Hollywood Week. The 22 year-old sang “Hallelujah” and Jennifer Lopez confessed she was rooting for her in the 2006 season at her first audition in New York (watch video here). During the Hollywood Week, Rachel performed “Warwick Avenue” and struggled because of her insecurities (watch video here). Rachel is definitely more mature and a better singer after the Idol experience.
American Idol 10 SHOCKING Eliminations: Dramatic Green Mile Episode!
Back in Los Angeles, the Top 40 survivors from the Beatles challenge were given one more chance to perform solo and impress the judges before their final decision. After a dramatic, emotional and shocking Green Mile episode, only the Top 24 contestants will be judged by the public at home next week.
