Was James Franco Stoned Hosting the 83rd Academy Awards? (Poll)

It was a performance that left many viewers of the 83rd Academy Awards wishing for the days of Bob Hope or Billy Crystal as host. Anne Hathaway seemed to be trying really hard, perhaps too hard at times, to do the best she could.  Her co-host James Franco appeared well STONED, unattached to what was happening, and disinterested.

The Bumpshack consensus is that Franco was higher than oil prices.  His performance as co-host didn’t bowl us over either.

      I loved Anne Hathaway last night, she hosted the whole thing by herself, it was like James wasn’t even there. What was that about? Other than that Sandra Bullock was the funniest (can she host next year?) along with Jude Law, Robert Downey Jr, Russell Brand and Helen Mirren. Colin Firth was a darling too and Natalie is just too adorable.
