The White Stripes, Jack White and his ex-wife, Meg White, who played the brother and sister card for long for the sake of their music, woke up one day and decided the band no longer had a future. The White Stripes have official broken up.

Meg White and Jack White have released the following statement in their official website:

The White Stripes would like to announce that today, February 2nd, 2011,
their band has officially ended and will make no further new recordings or perform live.

The reason is not due to artistic differences or lack of wanting to continue, nor any health issues as both Meg and Jack are feeling fine and in good health.

It is for a myriad of reasons, but mostly to preserve What is beautiful and special about the band and have it stay that way.

Meg and Jack want to thank every one of their fans and admirers for the incredible support they have given throughout the 13 plus years of the White Stripes’ intense and incredible career.

Third Man Records will continue to put out unreleased live and studio recordings from The White Stripes in their Vault Subscription record club, as well as through regular channels.

Both Meg and Jack hope this decision isn’t met with sorrow by their fans but that it is seen as a positive move done out of respect for the art and music that the band has created. It is also done with the utmost respect to those fans who’ve shared in those creations, with their feelings considered greatly.

With that in mind the band have this to say:

“The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful.”

The White Stripes were born in 1997, released six studio albums, one live album, two extended plays (EP), one concert film, one tour documentary, twenty-six singles, and fourteen music videos, before they finally dissolved on February 2, 2011. R.I.P. The White Stripes.

We announced back in August that Zac Brown of the Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band was expecting a new baby — and guess what — she’s made her debut!

Joni Mason Brown is the fourth little girl to join the Brown household. Little Joni has three big sisters — Justice, 4, Lucy, 2½, and Georgia Sloan, 16 months.

Zac insists that he and wife Shelly will keep on truckin’ until they can make a boy.

He said:

“We’re just gonna keep on going until we get a boy,”

Zac is one of 12 kids himself, so the ‘keep going til you get it right’ mentality isn’t very far fetched.

The ‘Chicken Fried‘ singer added:

“If that’s 13, then I doubt I’m gonna be able to pull that off, but we’ll see.”

We’ll keep our fingers crossed that you guys get a mini-Zac on the next go-round….which should be in about a year if history repeats itself.

Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson is a daddy again! The 48 year-old and his wife, art dealer Megan Wallace-Cunningham, welcomed a healthy baby boy named Liam James Ferguson in Los Angeles on Monday (January 31).

“Everyone is happy and healthy,” says the “Late Late Show” host’s rep. “The family is doing great, everybody’s perfect.”

Craig enthusiastically announced his wife, whom he married in December 2008, was pregnant on Twitter in July 2010 (more photos here). The couple is currently raising 9 year-old Milo Hamish, Craig’s son from a previous marriage to Sascha Corwin.

Former Bachelorette contestant, Jesse Csincsak, and his wife, former Bachelor contestant, Ann Lueders, have welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy name Noah Theodore Csincsak, via a C-section at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Colorado on Wednesday (February 2)- first pictures below.

“No words can describe how blessed Ann and I feel having welcomed our son into the world today,” Jesse tells TooFab, “We are so excited to finally have him with us – we’ve been waiting our whole lives for this moment!”

Baby Noah weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces. Doctors decided to perform an emergency C-section after 21 hours of labor because they realized the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck two times. Fortunately, Ann and baby Noah are both doing well.

The proud dad explains the name: “At first we were like, ‘oh we’ll name him Jesse’ and I was like [my parents] were going to do that with me, they were going to name me after my dad Ted, and my grandfather’s name was Ted and there was just so many Ted’s and I was like, you know, I don’t want him to feel like he has to follow in my footsteps, I want him to be his own person. I want him to have his own identity, you know, and not type in his name, and all this stuff about me comes up on Google. I want him to have his own little Google ability!”

Ann adds, “We don’t want him to feel pressure to go on a reality television show, that’s really where the name change came from!”

That is a smart decision by the new parents. The new parents are both excited and incredibly happy to finally have their baby with them. They still believe they must be dreaming.

Ann told Too Fab, “There’s no feeling like it in the world. I was telling my mom thismorning it’s just a very surreal feeling, you kind of think like, ‘They’re going to let me take this baby home? Is he really mine?’ and you know, it’s just such a great feeling when you finally have him in your arms. You realize that this is the baby that Jesse and I have been looking forward to for the last nine months.”

Jesse says, “I get choked up every time I talk about it, it’s uh, it was an experience of a lifetime to, to bring a life into this world…. Indescribable.”

Jesse, who was engaged to DeAnna Pappas back in 2008, and Ann met on a Bachelor/Bachelorette cruise last year and they decided to get married a few weeks after announcing their engagement.

Country star Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman have a newborn daughter named Faith Margaret, their second child, who was born via a surrogate. The proud daddy was happy to show off the first picture of their little miracle on the red carpet of the SAG Awards over the weekend.

Nicole confessed to be thrilled and explained why they chose the name Faith for the baby. “We needed to have that through the whole pregnancy. That’s what it required — a lot of faith,” she said.

Faith Margaret is absolutely cute. And just like big sister Sunday, Faith’s second name is the name of a flower. That was a beautiful choice by the parents! There is just one thing… I seriously cannot understand why “Sunday”? Awful name.
