Actress Bethany Joy Galeotti, best known for her roles in “Guiding Light” and “One Tree Hill”, proudly announced she welcomed a healthy and beautiful baby girl named Maria with her husband, Enation band member Michael Galeotti.

The 29 year-old delivered the good news on her official website with a picture of the happy family. Bethany Joy wrote:

Michael and Bethany have been together for almost six years since they tied the knot in 2005. Actor Kelsey Grammer and his girlfriend Kayte Walsh are now husband and wife! The two lovebirds tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Longacre Theater on Broadway in New York City on Friday (February 25)- more wedding pictures below.

The 29 year-old British flight attendant wore a satin and chiffon white gown by Peter Langer for Mark Ingram. Actor Terry Lavell, who starred with Kelsey in “La Cage”, married the couple, who later headed to their luxurious reception at the Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.

The guest list included daughter, actress Spencer Grammer, who read a poem, his 5 year-old son Jude (son of Camille Grammer) and the bride’s brother, who sang a song. Kelsey and Camille’s 8 year-old daughter apparently did not attend the event.

Kayte wanted this day to be perfect, so she made all the decisions from menu, which included ginger prawns, filet mignon au poivre, slow-roasted turkey breast with chorizo stuffing, and braised short-ribs, to the wedding cake designed by Sylvia Weinstock.

“They’re going to have a delicious carrot cake,” Weinstock told UsMagazine. “It’s about 55 inches tall. A grand cake, decorated with sugar flowers, in shades of white and cream. It’s going to be a fantastic showpiece.”

“She wants everything to be perfect and look gorgeous and wonderful,” she said of Walsh. “She’s thrilled…They’re a great couple and I see them having a great life together.”

Kelsey must be totally head over heels. The 56 year-old got married for the fourth time just two weeks after his divorce from “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star was finalized.

This past season, NeNe accused Kim of treating her assistant Sweetie like a “slave.” Her accusations led to a “Free Sweetie” campaign, started by Atlanta radio host Rickey Smiley after NeNe called into his show, that Sweetie says is “ruining her life.”

Sweetie told Life&Style:

“They’re doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me. They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They’ve taken it too far. NeNe’s jealous that she’s not as close to Kim as I am. I’ve known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim’s a great friend to me. NeNe’s traumatizing my life. She’s bringing hell to it.”

Kim added:

“I never want to speak to NeNe again. My assistant Sweetie is so upset about the whole thing, she’s beside herself. NeNe has problems.”

Chris Medina gets a second chance! After leaving Jennifer Lopez in tears, the American Idol season 10 castoff was given a chance to record an original song, “What Are Words”, written by super producer Rodney Jerkins, who was inspired by Chris and his fiancée Juliana Ramos’ love story.

Jerkins said, “When I heard the story of Chris and Juliana, the words and music just flowed. Sometimes a song is more than a song and that’s really true with ‘What Are Words.’”

Ah. We are so happy for Chris. When he was eliminated, Chris hinted that he might just give up on a music career to take care of Juliana, who suffered severe brain damage after a horrible car crash.

Chris was not the most incredible singer in the competition, but he is talented and being an Idol is so much more than hitting all the right notes. The 26 year-old recognizes this is an important moment in his life.

“To go from a mass audition in Milwaukee to the ‘American Idol’ stage in Hollywood and then to record an original song by and for Rodney Jerkins has been an amazing journey not just for me but for Juliana,” Medina said. “To be able to work in the studio with someone of his stature was a dream come true.”

It’s a sad day in the fashion world.

Fashion designer John Galliano was suspended from the House of Dior today after he was arrested for allegedly verbally assaulting a couple in Paris with racial and religious slurs.

In a statement, Dior boss Sidney Toledano said:

“The House of Dior declares with the greatest firmness its policy of zero tolerance with regard to any anti-Semitic or racist statement or attitude. Pending the outcome of the [police] enquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from all duties.”

Thursday night, police detained Galliano, 50, in the French capital’s fashionable Marais district after he allegedly verbally assaulted a couple in a bar called The Pearl. Reports differ between the couple and Galliano as to who approached who first.

Stephane Zerbib, the designer’s attorney told the Agence France Presse that Galliano:

“formally denies the accusations of anti-Semitism made against him … [He] is not at all in this state of mind [and] will explain later.” Zerbib also said that “legal action will be taken against those making such accusations.”

As Dior’s chief designer since 1999, Galliano was scheduled to showcase his latest ready-to-wear collection for the house next Friday. Two days later, he was to present his own John Galliano clothing line as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Earlier this week, singer Marina Diamandis took to Twitter to ask the world what the consensus was on product placement in music videos. To which Katy Perry responded:

“do it w/style & grace…Not so in ur face like some. U hv to get creative w/it. Some artists don’t care tho, & u can tell.”

Many people (including myself) took that Tweet to mean that Katy was dissing our beloved Britney Spears for her video “Hold It Against Me.” In the video, we see Britney holding her own perfume, Radiance, with companies like Make Up Forever, online dating site Plenty of Fish and Sony featured as well. Reportedly, she earned a whopping $500,000 for all the product placements.

Katy cleared up the confusion, or at least tried to, on Twitter:

“Dear tabloid media aka FILTH: pls note I expressed an overall feeling bout product placement, their roles in vids & the art of them being… complimenting or sticking out. Most, if not ALL popsters welcome deals w/products 2 offset costs of big budget vids in these recessional… music industry times.”

“I’VE used them in MY vids before & am happy 2b able 2 make a better vid because of. Once AGAIN, stop pitting artists…against artist for ur sensational satisfaction & stick to what ur best @: lying, gossiping, exaggerating & overall lending a hand 2 the… …deterioration of a generation.”

Now, Katie. I understand that you feel as if the media has taken something out of context and “pitted” you against Britney. But listen, you wrote a Tweet criticizing product placement in music videos DAYS after her video was released. We didn’t need your crazy rant about the media. We needed a clear explanation.
