Thursday, singer Michael Buble wed Argentine actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato in a civil ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Buble wore a grey suit, while the bride wore a violet dress and silver heels. After the ceremony, the two kissed for the cameras and Lopilato threw her bouquet of purple orchids into the gathered crowd.

Katie: “It can be intense sometimes because there are moments in motherhood where she will have trouble putting on the coat or whatever. Then it’s a story about how she won’t wear a coat. Recently, I took her to get ice cream in New York at this place called Serendipity that we go to all the time. It’s for kids. The clientele is children. We go in and we are waiting for a table and she grabs some gummies that are boy part gummies. I was horrified.”
Ellen: “Boy part?”
Katie: “P-e-n-i-s (Katie spells it out) gummies. I said, oh wow those aren’t Swedish fish.”
Ellen: “Even I know that. I know the difference there. …So someone made those on purpose. They look like that? It is made to look like a p-e-n-i-s (Ellen spells is out.)”
Katie: “They are called p-e-n-i-s gummies and they look like it. She was holding the box and I was like ok, wow we don’t need that right now. Because I thought if I said put that back and then she’s going to say, what is this? And I really didn’t want to have that conversation. I was like, why are selling these here? This is for kids. And then it was on the cover of a magazine that I’m giving her those gummies.”
Ellen: “They saw them in her hand?”
Katie: “Yes, they were taking photos of it. I was like, oh my god, no. We put them back. You know so sometimes it’s like no, wait, hold on.”
Ellen: “So now people think you’re feeding your child p-e-n-i-s gummy bears…”

American Idol Season 10 contestant, James Durbin, who set a piano on fire during his performance last night, told Ryan Seacrest he had so much hairspray in his hair that he was afraid of having a “Pepsi moment”.

James said, “I have a lot of hairspray in my hair to keep it from jumping around — so much so, the one thing I was worried about was having a ‘Pepsi moment.’”

The “Pepsi moment” comment was a reference to Michael Jackson’s incident (his hair caught on fire) on the set of a Pepsi commercial more than 26 years ago, which ultimately led to the King of Pop’s death after years of drug abuse.

Michael’s family was shocked and offended by the Idol hopeful’s little “joke”. A Jackson family rep told TMZ, “We were shocked to see this. It’s nothing to make light of and everybody should be focusing on who was responsible for Michael’s death.”

Joe Jackson was particularly upset because this unfortunate comment was not cut off from the West Coast feed. James is apparently a huge fan of MJ, so he took to his Twitter to try to explain the situation.

James tweeted, For anyone talkin..I said pepsi NOT MJ! I have no disrespect for Michael. I grew up singing his art. I guess youll take it how you want it…” and then followed that up with, “Talkin about MJs passing is too soon. Making a reference to an incident 25 years ago..not too soon. The stab was at pepsi people.”

These tweets have already been deleted. James was most likely advised to erase the tweets by the producers of the show. The truth is the comment is really unfortunate, but James sure didn’t mean to hurt or offended anyone. It’s one of those “open mouth, insert foot” moments.

Thursday, while filling in for a vacationing Kelly Ripa on LIVE! With Regis and Kelly, Dancing with the Stars host Carrie Ann Inaba, 43, was proposed to live on the air!

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Slams Kim Kardashian

After Inaba and Regis Philbin finished interviewing eliminated DWTS contestant Mike Catherwood, they began a segment together, reading viewer emails. That’s when, while in on the surprise, Philbin began reading an email from a viewer who wanted to propose to his girlfriend of two years.

That viewer was Inaba’s boyfriend, Jesse Sloan, 39, who came out from backstage with a beautiful diamond ring. Teary eyed and on one knee, he said:

“I struggle to find the words to express what you mean to me. You’re an inspiration. You’re everything to me. Will you marry me?”

To which Inaba replied:

“Yes. I will marry you.”

How magical! Congratulations, Carrie Ann!

I believe we’re not given any more than we can handle and most of the time I can handle it. But we all have fat days and if I’m having one of those days, those sorts of things make me feel down.”

On loving her curves:

“Girls tell me and my sisters, ‘We love your booties.’ Just yesterday a really thin stylist said to me, ‘I wish I had your booty. I don’t have one.’”
