Clint Jun Gamboa, best known as the Idol villain after kicking Jacee Badeaux out of his group in Hollywood, performed one of the classics, Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, at the American Idol season 10 Top 12 Guys semifinal on Tuesday (March 1)- watch video below.

The Karaoke host’s performance was praised by the judges. Steven Tyler thought it was a brilliant and beautiful rendition, while Randy Jackson said that no karaoke singer has that kind of vocal talent. And Jennifer Lopez provided the best comment saying Clint was good, but he had the jitters and she expects a lot more from him… next time! If there is a next time.

At the end of the night, we couldn’t even remember Clint existed because there were a few standout performances that completely erased other contestants from our memory. Clint’s chances of being one of the five most voted guys by the public are slim.
