Tim’s sweet tone and performance failed to impress the judges. Steven Tyler claimed the song didn’t make his skills justice and let him down. Jennifer Lopez felt frustrated because he wasn’t able to show America how incredible he is and how good his voice his. Randy Jackson was also disappointed.

The expectations for what Tim could do were so high, the judges were disappointed, but overall, he delivered a pretty good and solid performance. I’d say Tim was clearly better than any of the previous contestants (Clint, Jovany and Jordan).
