2011 American Idol Season 10 Top 13 Finalists Revealed!

Who will be in American Idol Season 10 Top 12/13? The Top 24 semifinalist (Top 12 Guys and Top 12 Girls) had the chance to perform for America’s vote in two semifinals (watch performances below). The 5 most voted boys and 5 most voted girls will go directly to the finals on the American Idol Season 10 live results show on Thursday (March 3).

The judges, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, will have one important decision to make. The judges have 2 or 3 wildcards to give to the less popular but talented contestants they want to see in the finals.

The American Idol Top 12/Top 13 finalists will be announced. They will perform each week for America’s vote until the next American Idol is revealed on the big season finale to air on March 24 (live show) and March 25 (final results show).

So after the Top 24 contestants had the chance to perform for us, it’s clear the guys are a lot stronger than the girls. Who will be the 5 most voted guys and the 5 most voted girls? We have our Top 5 guys. And if any of these 5 do not make it, they will be given a wildcard for sure.

American Idol Top 5 Guys Predictions:

Girls. Girls. Girls. This is very difficult. Most of the Top 12 Girls failed to impress the judges and public at home. There are two very strong candidates (Pia Toscano and Lauren Alaina) for the finals, but the other three spots are pretty hard to predict. Here are Bumpshack’s picks:

American Idol Top 5 Guys Predictions:

DAMN! Now there’s a whole lot of people begging for the wild cards. Rachel Zevita, Ta-Tynisa Wilson, Julie Zorrilla and Jordan Dorsey will need a miracle to make it to the finals. I’m going to pick three wildcards based on talent, popularity and my sixth sense.

American Idol LIVE Results Show UPDATES (8/7c)

UPDATE: HERE WE GO!! The 24 contestants are introduced. Ryan Seacrest is happy – there will be blood! Something tells me there will be a couple of shockers. Guys go first! Who will be on the lucky 5? The guys talk. Blah. American Idol was a life changing experience for all of them.

UPDATE 2: This is it. Scotty McCreery vs. Robbie Rosen. Robbie is OUT! Scotty is in the Top 10!! YAY! Clint Jun Gamboa vs. Jordan Dorsey vs. Jovany Barreto. What will happen?? Clint and Jordan are OUT. No. Jovany did not make it into the Top 10!

UPDATE 3: Time for the ladies to shine. The girls talk about their Idol experience. Pia Toscano vs. Lauren Alaina. Lauren is IN and Pia is IN. OF COURSE! Ta-Tynisa Wilson vs. Julie Zorrilla. And they are both OUT. Kendra Chantelle vs. Ashthon Jones vs. Karen Rodriguez. Ashthon and Kendra are OUT. Karen is IN.

UPDATE 4: Jacob Lusk vs. Casey Abrams vs. Tim Halperin. Jacob and Casey are IN the Top 10. Tim is OUT. ALL Bumpshack’s predictions RIGHT so far. Thia Megia vs. Naima Adedapo vs. Lauren Turner. Naima and Lauren are OUT. Thia is IN. Paul McDonald vs. Brett Loewenstern. Paul is IN and Brett is OUT.

UPDATE 5: Haley Reinhart vs. Rachel Zevita. Haley is the final girl in the Top 10. Rachel is OUT. James Durbin vs. Stefano Langone. James is the final guy in the Top 10. Stefano is OUT. Ryan announced the WildCard competition.

UPDATE 6: 14 contestants (7 guys and 7 girls). The judges will select 6 (3 boys and 3 guys) to sing for their life. Ashthon Jones is the first. Girl nailed it. That was intense. Lots of passion. And now Stefano Langone. Great job. This kid deserves to be in the Top 10! Kendra Chantelle is next. Nice. Some good high notes.

UPDATE 7: Jovany Barreto to sing for the wildcard. Do they need to hear him sing again? Really? Just send him home already. Naima Adedapo gets another chance and the other girls are totally out of the competition. Robbie Rosen is given the last opportunity of the night the rest of the guys say goodbye to the competition. I did not like it that much.

UPDATE 8: Wildcards called to the stage! What is going to happen next? The judges don’t know what to do yet, so they are going to premiere JLo‘s new music video for “On The Floor“. Jennifer Lopez totally ripped off the classic “Lambada”. Results after the break…

UPDATE 9: 3 contestants will be given the wild card: Ashthon Jones, Stefano Langone and Naima Adedapo. It’s a Top 13!!
