Actor David Arquette, who recently separated from his wife Courteney Cox, was involved in a serious head-on car accident, while he was driving his silver Cadillac in West Hollywood on Friday (March 4).

The actor was forced to swerve to the left to avoid hitting the car that suddenly stopped right in front of him and ended up veering into oncoming traffic. David’s car slammed into a vehicle going in the opposite direction.

According to TMZ, David got out or was taken out of the car before lying down on the ground, bleeding and waiting for help. An ambulance is currently taking David to a hospital nearby.
