American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez premiered the music video for her new single “On The Floor” (featuring Pitbull) during the American Idol season 10 semifinals on Thursday (March 3)- watch video below.

Jennifer, mother of twins Max and Emme, looks like one hot mama in one tight sparkly catsuit. But, the song is way too catchy – it’s like we have heard it a million times before. Why? “On The Floor” is a total rip-off of the 1980’s hit “Lambada” by Kaoma mixed with some dance beat that also sounds awfully familiar.

Me too!! You’d think J Lo & Pitbull would have the decency to incorporate “Lambada” somewhere in the title, at least, because it is SO obviously a rip-off!!!

And Kaomas Lambada is itself a ripoff from Los Kjarkas – “Llorando se fue” from 1981!!!
The lambada was clear act of plagiarism and the Los Kjarkas sued Kaoma and won.
