Robert plays an ambitious student who loses his parents in a tragic car accident and runs away from home, looking for a new more adventurous life. Christopher Waltz gives him a job in his travelling circus and Robert ends up falling in love with the boss’ wife Reese Witherspoon.

The Twilight star was finally given a breakthrough role in a serious movie with two Oscar-winning actors. Could this be Robert’s first run for the golden statue!?! Probably. “Water For Elephants” hits theaters on April 22, 2011.
