Jimmy Kimmel Evacuated From French Polynesia In Tsunami Scare
Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was forced to evacuate a French Polynesia small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean due to a massive Tsunami wave created by the 8.9 earthquake in Japan.

Jimmy was apparently relaxing in the small island when the earthquake happened. He initially joked about the situation on Twitter. He wrote, “Suddenly, relaxing on an island in the South Pacific isn’t so relaxing anymore. Good thing I brought my aqua stilts.”
Of course, Jimmy was bombarded with messages from shocked Twitter users all over the world. Jimmy tried to explain he was right in the middle of the whole ordeal. He said, “I am on an island in French Polynesia, glued to CNN. thanks again for the concern – I am now worried others will worry if I don’t tweet – but if I don’t, don’t.”
When asked on a scale of 1 to 10 how scared he was, Jimmy replied, “A good solid 7. on a small island, with no high ground.” Oh no! Finally, the talk show host announced they were being evacuated from the island. “We are evacuating the island. dogspeed.”
