Actor Sam Trammell, best known for playing the role of shape shifter Sam Merlotte in HBO’s “True Blood”, and his longtime girlfriend, actress Missy Yager, have confirmed they are expecting twins.

The couple is thrilled and excited to start a family. The 40 year-old actor and Missy met doing theater in New York. The two have been together for more than eight years. Time to put a ring on it, Sam!

“True Blood” season 4 is set to premiere on June 12, 2011.
