Former Bachelor contestant, Ashley Hebert, who was dumped by Bachelor Brad Womack after the overnight dates, was announced as the new Bachelorette for the seventh season of the popular ABC dating show on Jimmy Kimmel Live after the big season finale of “The Bachelor” (season 14) on Monday (March 14).

The 26 year-old future dentist is ready for a new challenge and has her heart open for a guy to finally sweep her off her feet. Ashley said, “I feel like this season taught me so much about myself. It primed me for a new relationship. I’m ready to meet 25 new guys. Bring ‘em on! I’m open hearted and interested in meeting the guys and hopefully fall in love.”

Aw. Ashley also revealed she has been single for like four years and during that time she only had like five dates. OMG. Ashley needs this!! By the way, the new lighter hair color does look good on Ashley. I seriously wasn’t liking the dark look she debuted on Bachelor’s “Women Tell All” special.
