Bachelor Brad Womack made one of the biggest choices of his life with some help from famed jeweler Neil Lane – the engagement ring he would slip on the woman of his dreams, Emily Maynard’s finger when he proposed during the final rose ceremony (more pictures below).

“Brad said he’d dreamed of the perfect ring but he didn’t know exactly what it was until he saw this one,” Lane tells PEOPLE. “I saved it for the last one and when Brad saw it, he knew it was the ring of his dreams.”

The engagement ring is just how Brad had imagined it. The $50,000 platinum and diamond ring with 263 small round diamonds around a “romantic” central cushion-cut diamond is absolutely perfect and gorgeous.

“He loved that no matter how Emily bent her finger, there would be sparkles everywhere you looked,” says Lane. “He wanted it glistening.”

How romantic!?! Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. But, was Brad as certain about the woman he chose to marry as he was about this fantastic sparkler? “He was certain about Emily. He had found his true soul mate, the love of his life,” Lane says. “They seemed inseparable. No indecision. The ring symbolized his certainty.”
