Prosecutor David Schubert Arrested For Cocaine Possession (Mugshot)
Clark County Deputy District Attorney, David Schubert, who prosecuted Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton for cocaine possession, was ironically arrested for the exact same crime on Saturday night (March 19).
Ouch! Schubert allegedly bought coke three or four times a week from a street deal near the strip. He was caught in the act when a guy entered his BMW and he drove him to an apartment complex where he had the drugs.
Schubert committed a traffic violation and the cops pulled him over. The passenger got out of the car, ran and was later subdued after a foot chase. The dealer snitched the prosecutor out, saying he often bought $40 worth of cocaine.
David Roger, the Clark County District Attorney, tells TMZ, “We are very disappointed. He [Schubert] has betrayed the trust that was placed in him. He’s been locked out of his office, placed on suspension and is in the process of being terminated.”
Schubert has not been allowed inside his office and is certainly going to get fired after he was assigned to a couple of pretty high-profile drug cases involving a socialite and Grammy Award winner.
