Michael Wilding, Liz Taylor’s Son, Emotional Family Statement
Elizabeth Taylor’s son, Michael Wilding, released an emotional, heartfelt statement on behalf of the entire family, including the actress’ other three children, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, after her tragic death earlier this morning.

“My mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love,” Wilding, 58, said in a statement Wednesday. “Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world.”

The Hollywood legend had been hospitalized six weeks ago with a condition she had struggled for years – a congestive heart failure that resulted in her death at the age of 79.

I have always been a fan of Elizabeth Taylor, from childhood I looked at National Violet, I would race home from school on afternoon to complete dinner in order to watch my favourite show, as I got older I continued going to the cinema to see all her movies. My most inspiring was Cleopatra and to this day I love seeing her in that movie. Her beauty, her charm, her grace, the way she lived her life and the love she had for other in deep need for help was truly amazing.She was truly an icon. I believe that we have lost another of the Great people who have influenced the citizens of this world to strive to be better then we normally would. She took on unpopular causes and stood with unpopular persons , michael jackson, in their hour of need if they were her friends. I wish that she was my friend.
We all will miss her kindness, this world needs a little kindness and now more then before.
