Jessica Simpson Confirms ‘X-Factor’ Rumors
Jessica Simpson, 30, has revealed that she is in talks to become a judge for Simon Cowell‘s The X-Factor USA.

Though she had previously denied rumors she was being considered, Simpson recently confirmed the talks in an interview:
“They have definitely talked to me about X Factor. I think it would be a lot of fun.”“It’s definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people’s dreams come true.”
Cowell and former Island Def Jam record label chariman L.A. Reid are the only confirmed judges, but the executive producer of the show, Rob Wade, said they hope to have a panel chosen by April.
I’ll be interested to see how this show does in ratings compared to American Idol.
