The script, which is said to have an “Inception”-style plot, is rumored to be floating around Hollywood. But once it’s tied to a production company, Steinfeld comes along with it. This time, the story will be told from the princess’ point of view, revolving around her quest to escape the dream world she’s been living in.

Earlier this year, the newcomer was cast in “Forgotten.” She was also recently in the running to play the lead in “Hunger Games,” but lost out to the older Jennifer Lawrence.

In January, Steinfeld’s True Grit co-star, Jeff Bridges, spoke highly of her as an actress:

“It was a very difficult role, I think, for any actor at any age. She got her tongue around those words, and she made it look easy. But that was a lot of studying and a great work ethic to come up with that. All the skills — or talents, I guess — that actors wish they had, she’s got them in spades.”

What a perfect fit! She certainly looks like a princess.
