Thursday, while filling in for a vacationing Kelly Ripa on LIVE! With Regis and Kelly, Dancing with the Stars host Carrie Ann Inaba, 43, was proposed to live on the air!

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Slams Kim Kardashian

After Inaba and Regis Philbin finished interviewing eliminated DWTS contestant Mike Catherwood, they began a segment together, reading viewer emails. That’s when, while in on the surprise, Philbin began reading an email from a viewer who wanted to propose to his girlfriend of two years.

That viewer was Inaba’s boyfriend, Jesse Sloan, 39, who came out from backstage with a beautiful diamond ring. Teary eyed and on one knee, he said:

“I struggle to find the words to express what you mean to me. You’re an inspiration. You’re everything to me. Will you marry me?”

To which Inaba replied:

“Yes. I will marry you.”

How magical! Congratulations, Carrie Ann!
