Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez both agreed Paul is fantastic, but felt like he was holding back. JLo said Paul still didn’t discover just how far he can go with his voice. Steven Tyler liked the character he put in his voice when he hit a certain note. Blah.

That was sweet, soft and beautiful. Love Paul. It’s time to retire the flower jacket and pants. I agree with the judges. Paul is holding back. And I get the idea he is afraid of hitting a high note… he is no diva, but he could push it a bit. His voice is incredible.
