Jennifer Lopez said Naima gave her the goosies. Steven Tyler could barely speak, but managed to say she is the whole package. Randy Jackson was happy Naima finally showed up with an incredibly smart performance.

Naima is a performer and she rocked that stage. That was truly contagious. This was Naima’s best performance so far. The crazy wild African dance was pure joy after the boring ballads. I think it’s safe to say we will see Naima next week. Congrats!

Steven Tyler compared Paul to Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Jennifer Lopez proclaims Paul is the most seasoned performer, the complete package and he only needs a good producer to take off. Randy Jackson was touched. “When you sing tender… oh my God, dude!”, he said.

YEAH! Paul finally nailed it! That was incredible. We finally saw what Paul is really capable of. He has his own style and is very unique. Love the voice! He looks a lot more confident on the stage with his guitar and he looks at the audience like he means it. Powerful. LOVE it!

Jennifer Lopez said Pia kill us with her killer ballads, but we need more dynamic. Steven Tyler says something useless like she is the biggest star in Idol Universe (SHUT UP!). Randy Jackson was not happy and asked for something mid-tempo, saying Pia cannot live by ballads alone.

YAWN. I get it Pia wants to be a diva, but if she brings another damn ballad next week, I’ll officially start to hate her. Pia’s vocals are all too perfect and it’s so incredibly boring. This is not the recording artist Idol is looking for… it’s a very poor version of Celine Dion.

Steven Tyler loved if (of course!) and claimed that when Scotty hits the low notes, he tweaks everybody. Oh, YES! Jennifer Lopez praised him for making the song his own. Randy Jackson said Scotty is the young lady killer with the low note. Oh, boy!

Scotty can sing. Country is his safe place, but he can turn anything else he sings into a country hit. Scotty also looked a lot more comfortable and confident on stage. The performance was not perfect, but it should keep him safe for another week.

Jennifer Lopez praised Haley for her vocal contortions, claiming she has the most soulful voice on the girls’ side. Steven Tyler said it was beautiful (*eye roll*) and that she sang her heart out. Randy Jackson was happy with the improvement.

Haley has been clearly losing her confidence, which is no good when she has to own the stage in short shorts and high heels. This girl obviously can sing, but she needs to stop over-sensualizing every single song.

Randy Jackson said Stefano’s got it all and is only missing the connection. Jennifer Lopez seriously tried to make Stefano understand what he is missing, but I dunno if he got it. JLo wants him to tell a story. Steven Tyler claimed he ramped up too soon and needs to pull back to take off.

Not happy. This was most probably Stefano’s worst performance on the show. He was disconnected and sang with his eyes closed for most of the song, probably in an attempt to deliver more emotion to the song. That didn’t happen. I hate to say this, but Stefano could be in danger.

I loved it. This was without a doubt Lauren’s best performance on the show so far. She owned it and owned the stage with her confident attitude. Lauren must be in the Top 10. In my opinion, she was the best girl performing last night.

Wow. Steven Tyler got out of his seat to hug Jacob and call him “baby Luther”. Jennifer Lopez could not contain her excitement, saying he moved her and made her beg for those notes. LOL. Sounds like torture. Randy Jackson was truly impressed and said that was like the best performance ever on Idol (he was probably only referring to Motown performances!).

Jacob finally controlled his voice and his emotions. I’ve been saying he needed restrain and to learn how to build it up for weeks. He nailed it. I dunno about the best performance on Idol (Blah!), but this was really good. Jacob is safe for another week!

Thia finally delivered a fun performance, but I don’t know why the judges were so happy… did Thia miss a couple of words there? Or was she trying hard to remember the lyrics during some moments through the song? It was better than the boring ballads, but still not enough.

Incredibly. Another week, another incredible performance by Casey. He is so unique and he already has his own style and signature no matter what song he chooses to perform. Steven Tyler was delighted, calling him the perfect entertainer and the perfect mix of crazy out of control ego.

Both Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson agreed there’s no one like Casey right now. He could become one very successful recording artist. I can’t help but just want more and more. By the way, the girl in the audience is just a “friend”!

Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta was arrested last night in New York City after reportedly attacking The City star Samantha Swetra.

An intoxicated Huerta allegedly threw a glass at Swetra’s leg and punched her in the face at The Standard Hotel. Cat fight! And apparently all this happened just because Swetra made a joke about Huerta being drunk. But let’s be honest, there’s gotta be more to it.
