RIP OG: Rapper Nate Dogg Dead at 41

Rapper Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale), best known for his classic rap duo ‘Regulate’ with fellow rapper Warren G, has passed away at the age of 41 years old.
Nate had been battling health problems the last few years after first suffering a stroke in 2007. He had suffered additional strokes since the original one that led to him being paralyzed. He had spent the past few months of his life in a physical rehabilitation center.
Rumors of his death had falsely been circulating for many months. Sadly rumor became fact today.

Nate servered for 3 years in the United States Marine Corp before turning his attention to the rap game.
Nate Dogg was discovered by Dr. Dre and made his rap debut on Dre’s multi-platinum classic ‘The Chronic.’
Snopp Dogg offered his condolences on his Twitter:
“We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met”
Daz Dillinger added as well via Twitter:

50 Cent tweeted in disbelief at Nate’s passing:
“I just landed nate dog is dead damn. GOD BLESS HIM R.I.P he meant a lot to west coast hiphop. Iv always been a fan of it. 50cent”
