Rapper Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale), best known for his classic rap duo ‘Regulate’ with fellow rapper Warren G, has passed away at the age of 41 years old.

Nate had been battling health problems the last few years after first suffering a stroke in 2007. He had suffered additional strokes since the original one that led to him being paralyzed. He had spent the past few months of his life in a physical rehabilitation center.

Rumors of his death had falsely been circulating for many months. Sadly rumor became fact today.

Nate servered for 3 years in the United States Marine Corp before turning his attention to the rap game.

Nate Dogg was discovered by Dr. Dre and made his rap debut on Dre’s multi-platinum classic ‘The Chronic.’

“We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met”

50 Cent tweeted in disbelief at Nate’s passing:

UCLA student Alexandra Wallace has created tsunami of hate towards her after she posted a rant on You Tube ripping Asians who talk on their cell phones in the UCLA library.

She also went off Asian students in her apartment complex who have their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and sisters come over on the weekend to do their laundry and cook all their meals for the week.

The L.A. Times has posted Alexandra’s apology:

“Clearly the original video posted by me was inappropriate,” she said in the statement. “I cannot explain what possessed me to approach the subject as I did, and if I could undo it, I would.”

Wallace claims she has received death threats and many other threats of hate and bodily harm since the video went viral.

Alexandra Wallace was very insensitive and dumb, but she deserves a second chance among her peers and from UCLA.  Many of us either said or had friends who said a lot worse during our college days.  I doubt she ever thought her You Tube video would be seen by millions of people around the world.

Comedian Gilbert Gottfried finally apologized for his incredibly tasteless Twitter jokes about the earthquake/tsunami in Japan one day after he was fired Aflac from his role as their duck mascot’s voice.

Gilbert was only one of the idiots mocking Japanese people who just survived a huge natural catastrophe. 50 Cent did it too via Twitter. Idiots use the popular social networking site to be heard… and get fired in this particular case!

Aflac’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael Zuna issued a statement saying, “Gilbert’s recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac … Aflac will immediately set plans in motion to conduct a nationwide casting call to find a new voice of the iconic Aflac Duck.”

Bye bye, duck! The 56 year-old comedian decided the cruel jokes deserved an apology… and Gilbert also probably wants to get his job back! Gilbert was the voice of the Aflac duck for a whole decade. He released the following statement:

“I sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by my attempt at humor regarding the tragedy in Japan. I meant no disrespect, and my thoughts are with the victims and their families.”

Holy smokes! Actress Vanessa Hudgens flaunts her fantastic figure and flashes her incredible abs in a tiny bikini on the cover of the upcoming April 2011 issue of Shape Magazine.

Ironically, new raunchy pictures of the former Disney star just hit the web yesterday. Vanessa was caught kissing a girl (Alexa Nikolas) – photos HERE.

In the Shape interview, the 22 year-old talks about her former lover, Zac Efron, fast food addiction and working out for her new movie “Sucker Punch.” Here are the highlights:

On Zac Efron: “Long-distance relationships are hard no matter what. When you don’t have face-to-face time, it’s just different. Having an iPhone helped, but it wasn’t the same. We grew up together. It was nice to have someone to share all those experiences with. It was a good thing. The relationship kept me grounded and because I was with someone who knew me so well, I didn’t need to try to be someone that I’m not.”

On getting in shape for “Sucker Punch”: “I knew it was going to be hard but I didn’t know how hard. In the beginning I could dead lift 135 lbs. By the end, I lifted 180 lbs. I was a monster … Exercise is amazing from the inside out. I feel so alive and have more energy.”

On her past fast food addiction: “I was so unhealthy. I used to go to Cold Stone Creamery, get a tub of Butterfinger ice cream and eat it all before bedtime. And my fingers were permanently stained orange from Cheetos. When I came back [to High School Musical], I almost couldn’t get my costume on. When I finally got it zipped up, my boobs were up to my chin!”

Canadian model turned actress, Natasha Henstridge and her longtime partner, Scottish singer/songwriter Darius Campbell, have secretly tied the knot in a very private ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2011).

Darius and Natasha have been together for more than seven years and engaged for the past three, but they did not tell their close friends and family they were preparing to make it legal. The only guests in their wedding were the actress’ two sons, 12 year-old Tristan and 9 year-old Asher.

Natasha explained: “We thought they wouldn’t be bothered but they were super-excited and really wanted to be there. They kept it secret – I was very impressed. We didn’t tell our parents for a few days afterwards. We wanted to be together and enjoy it for a while. It was really spontaneous. It was a very hard secret to keep!”

Darius added: “No-one knew we were there and that sense of it just being for us was very exciting – it felt a little bit naughty and secretive. We realized with everyone’s schedules it was easier to do something romantic and special just for us.”

The couple has friends and family all over the world, so it was simply easier to have an intimate and ultra secret wedding. It’s also pretty romantic. They have plenty of time to celebrate with their loved ones.
