Steven Tyler mumbled something unintelligible like “boom shakalaka baby”. Jennifer Lopez believes Naima should still be standing there, but worried about the how she (kind of…) butchered the song. The judge ended up recognizing the idea was good and she loves to see her perform. Randy Jackson said the reggae version was corny.

Corny indeed! What the heck? The idea and arrangement is smart, but what was Naima thinking? I hated the fake Jamaican accent. That’s certainly not who she is. Naima is most probably in danger of leaving tonight.

Randy Jackson was impressed with Scotty’s performance, saying he was in the zone and already ready to record an album. Of course, Steven Tyler loves everything about his voice. Seriously, Steven? What about becoming a real Idol judge for once?

Scotty knows exactly who he is and who he wants to be in the future. Scotty picked this song because it had the world “country” in the title and it turned out to be a great song for him. He sang the cheesy grandma line even against the producers’ advice. And it was nice… probably earned him a few more votes too!

Earlier today, it was reported that television icon Judith “Judge Judy” Sheindlin, 68, was rushed to the hospital while on the set of her show for “nausea and intestinal issues.”

An insider at the show told reporters that Judy had taken pain medication for an oral surgery the day before and hadn’t eaten all day. They added:

“She was just sitting on the stand during her taping, and she started saying things that didn’t make any sense,” an insider tells Radar. “It was only during the second case. The judge said a couple of sentences that didn’t have anything to do with the case, and then she stopped speaking and said she wasn’t feeling well.”

After being at the hospital, Judy told TMZ herself:

“I’m really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon. I’m exhausted. I’m tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world. At my age, I know my body. My body is fine.”

Kourtney on why she’s so protective of her son, Mason:

“When I’m out in public with him, at a restaurant or just walking down the street, people come up to us and always want to talk to Mason. I mean, I like that everyone is so friendly, but I don’t want to confuse him. When people come up to us and want to take his picture, I always say no. I’m sure people are like, “Ugh, who does she think she is?” But that’s my time with Mason.”

Wednesday, 30 Rock actress Elizabeth Banks surprised fans by revealing on her blog that she’s now the mother of a baby boy.

Elizabeth explained her pregnancy woes and told fans that through the help of a surrogate, she is now a mother:

“I have been very fortunate in life both professionally and personally. I have had untold number of opportunities to work with inspiring people, on great projects as an actress, and I have had a fantastic long term relationship of nearly 20 years with my now husband, Max [Handelman],”

“The one true hurdle I’ve faced in life is that I have a broken belly. After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a ‘baby cake’ and bake it in another woman’s ‘oven.’”

“From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity. And the second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman. Felix means ‘happy’ and ‘lucky’ in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life.”

The actress wed her college sweetheart, Max Handelman, in 2003. She added that they have ”maintained a great deal of privacy throughout this process” and asked fans to “honor Felix’s privacy going forward.”

She ended the post thanking her fans for their support:

“Thanks to all our friends, family, and fans for your support. If you need me, I’ll be changing dirty diapers and trying to get some sleep.”
