Marathon runner Sally Meyerhoff was tragically killed in a fatal bicycle accident in Maricopa, Arizona on Tuesday afternoon (March 8). The 27 year-old was riding her bicycle when she was hit by a pick-up truck at an intersection.

Sally, who had won the 2011 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n Roll Marathon in Phoenix back in January, was instantly killed in the crash. The pick-up driver was not impaired, but the police is still currently investigating the accident.

The runner was allegedly happy and excited because she had just qualified for Olympic trials. Sally was also considered to be one of the Top 10 marathon runners in the country.

Former bassist of Alice In Chains, Mike Starr, who had been on “Celebrity Rehab” with Dr. Drew back in 2009, was found dead at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday (March 8).

The cops were called to Mike’s home at 1:42 pm. There no information on who made the call and in what condition Mike was found. The cause of death is still unknown.

The 44 year-old bassist was just arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance last month (mug shot here). Mike’s father told TMZ of his son death, “It’s a terrible shock and tragedy.”

Parkour star Levi Meeuwenberg totally shattered his wrist while shooting some wild stunts for a G4 reality show called “Jump City” (watch graphic video HERE). Levi tripped over an elevated railing and fell down head first on a concrete stairway.
