Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon officially married her fiancé Jim Toth in a top secret star-studded wedding ceremony at her ranch estate in Ojai, California on Saturday evening (March 26).

The 35 year-old bride walked down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier gown to the sound of “Here Comes The Bride”. The guest list included names like Renée Zellweger, Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan, Tobey Maguire, Conan O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Salma Hayek, Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen and Alyssa Milano and husband David Bugliari (pictures below).

Ryan Phillippe, Reese’s ex-husband and father of her children, was not present – he most probably politely declined the invitation! Reese’s kids, 11 year-old Ava and 7 year-old Deacon, were there for their mommy’s special day.

After twenty five years of being on the air, Oprah has announced that her final show of The Oprah Winfrey Show will be May 25.

The show has been in reruns lately, but the 57-year-old entertainment superstar Tweeted:

“Hard at work planning the final shows – can’t wait to share w/ u all!”

No worries, though. After the show, Oprah will be hard at work with her own cable station, the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Glee actress Lea Michele, 24, was involved in a car wreck around 2 a.m. on Friday morning on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Luckily, Michele was okay, according to her rep:

“Lea was hit and notified the police. She was not injured and is fine.”

Another source for the actress said:

“A couple of drunk girls hit her, got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said something like ‘are you drunk, too?’ Then they drove off.”

The same source added that Michele was able to write down the license plate of the car and call the police.

Unfortunately, Michele seems to have bad luck with car accidents. She’s talked in the past about being in a car wreck before her audition for Glee:

“For my second audition I got into a massive car wreck, left my crashed car in the street and ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair. And then on the final audition, I had the worst neck ache from the car accident.”

Just in case the chosen dress was revealed before the huge occasion, the designers of the gown created a spare:

“At the time we wanted to make absolutely sure that the dress was a surprise,” said Elizabeth Emmauel of Elizabeth and David Emmanuel designs, who created both gowns. “Had the secret of the real dress got out it’s possible that Diana would actually have worn this one.”

The silk taffeta dress is similar to the dress we saw Diana wear, but doesn’t have the same lace accents and was never actually finished:

“We didn’t try it on Diana. We never even discussed it. We wanted to make sure that we had something there; it was for our own peace of mind, really.”

Emmauel added that she understands the stress that the designer of Kate Middleton‘s gown is more than likely going through:

“They’re keeping quiet on the designer this time, probably to avoid all the hassle that we had,” she said. “It was really difficult and we didn’t have to contend with cameras in phones etc like you have today. How do you keep something secret like that? I have no idea.”

She said, “It was my birthday yesterday, so I want to thank Empire for such a brilliant birthday present; to be made a hero on your 26th birthday is fantastic. Crazy Town’s founder, Shifty Shellshock (real name: Seth Binzer), who dated one of Charlie Sheen’s goddesses, Natalie Kenly (photos here), was arrested on outstanding warrants when cops responded to a domestic disturbance call between Shifty and his new girlfriend.

The 36 year-old, who went on several reality shows like Celebrity Rehab and Sober House after the band broke up, was picked up by the police at around 10:35 am, booked and taken to the Van Nuys jail.

Love is in the air! Actress Carey Mulligan, who broke up with her boyfriend Shia La Beouf five months ago, is reportedly currently dating a hot new guy, Mumford and Sons folk musician Marcus Mumford.

Marcus and Carey had the opportunity to get to know each other better at an intimate show in Nashville, Tennessee last month. Carey flew all the way back to London to spend more time with her new beau. The two were also spotted together in Orkney Islands in Scotland last week.

“Marcus invited Carey to watch him play a secret show in the basement of his friend Mike Harris’s home in Nashville. She sat in the front row and while he was singing Marcus looked down at Carey and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry,” a source said.

“Afterward they went to the City House restaurant and dined with friends but they sat together and acted like a couple.”

The 24 year-old actress is even thinking about accompanying Marcus and his band when they tour the US next month. That is true love. Carey left Shia apparently because her career was more important than a man in her life, but she seems to have changed her mind.

“Carey’s hoping they can spend more time together when Marcus flies back to America next month for a major tour with his band,” said the source.

“He’s hired a vintage train instead of a tour bus and has asked Carey to join him for the trip. It’s early days but they seem to enjoy each other’s company.”

Maybe it’s a little too soon to go on tour with a new guy. It’s easy to kill romance when you have to share space for a long period of time. Anyhow, congratulations to the new happy couple!
