American Idol Top 8 Results, April 7: Who Was Eliminated?
Who Will Be Voted Off Tonight? The American Idol season 10 Top 9 will be reduced to a Top 8 as another contestant will be forced to leave the competition tonight (Thursday, April 7), after a wonderful night dedicated to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on Wednesday (April 6).

Last week, two contestants, Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia, were eliminated following Casey Abrams‘ judge save a couple of weeks ago. The two girls were the weakest contestants and left a pretty good and competitive good fighting for the Idol title.

Who will be eliminated? This weeks is going to be tough! I believe it’s safe to say Stefano Langone, who delivered one of the cheesiest performances of the night, and Jacob Lusk, who became a real diva and lost he modesty during the Idol journey, will be in the bottom three. The third contestant to join them will most probably be Lauren Alaina or James Durbin.

In my opinion, Jacob Lusk deserves to be eliminated tonight. He butchered one of the best songs of all time (Michael Jackson‘s “Man In The Mirror“) and had the audacity to proclaim that if he landed in the bottom 3, it’s because American people can’t see themselves in the mirror (watch video here).

I sure do not understand this show!!!! how in this word could someone as “GREAT” as Pia Toscano be voted off when you still have al lease five others who really suck!!!!! I will say that my friends & I will not longer be an american idol fan!!!! if JLO would stpo making so much fuss over the red head can”t sing guy he should hvae been cut a long time ago this is so unfair i have watched this show since day one nad by far this is the worst i have ever seen I wish that Pia ends up being one of the greatest singers of all time I Don’t understand how AMERICAN VOTES!!!!!!!!! horriable just horrible.
Pia Toscano voted off??? I’m disappointed beyond belief. I never comment on these things but forgive me, the loss of Pia from this years show (the best so far) has put me in completely disinterested mode. With few exceptions everyone deserves to be in the contest but I looked forward to Pia the most. She seemed destined to be in the final.
We will never know because the producers of the show will never tell us but my guess is the vote next week will be down considerably.
I hope that Pia puts out an album right away with all of the songs that she has done. I know that I would buy it.
I personally think that pia does not deserve that at all, she is the best out of them!!!!
Blame the judges for using the save too soon. They should predetermine who they believe to be the top 3 and only use their save option should that person be voted off before #6, when the save option can be last executed.
Perhaps they did use this strategy when they saved Casey at #11?!?!?!
I don’t think they would have had him top 3 material…..maybe they don’t have any strategy and vote with their hearts….too bad for Pia.

I don’t believe the judges had a strategy because I’m sure Casey isn’t top 3 material.
They should have let him walk at #11 and used the save when something like last night happened.
The show blames voters for not voting and try to justify Pia’s dismissal that way.
However, I blame the judges, using the save option at #11 It is laughable and shameful.
The judges did a terrible disservice to Pia and they are totally to blame for her dismissal.
Just look at the shock and disbelief from them at they end of the show. They abdictated their responsibility and let Pia down. Good luck for future endeavours, Pia, I know you will do very well with your singing career. You were, by far, the best talent on the show.
i cannot believe that pia is never going to perform again! Shes permanantly leaving! I might as well just stop watching the stupid show that no one seems to agree on anything.
