Jacob Lusk proved some songs are just not meant to be performed in a competition when he chose Michael Jackson’s “Man In The Mirror” at the American Idol season 10 Top 9 live show dedicated to songs from the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on Wednesday (April 6)- watch video below.

WTH! What just happened? That performance was Jacob’s poorest performance on Idol, but he was only praised by the judges. I don’t even know why we need to hear those three, if they cannot do their job by offering some constructive criticism once in a while. Jennifer Lopez said Jacob can do anything (no, he can’t!), while Randy Jackson praised him for believing in himself.

Steven Tyler said that was beautiful (this judge is like a broken record!). Seriously? Jacob decided to not sing Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It” because it went against his morals or something. Then, Jacob hits the stage to sing one of the most beautiful songs ever and he can’t stop shaking his hips… UGH.

Jacob also seems to be lacking modesty. That’s what happens when you are always told you are fantastic and beautiful. According to Jacob, if he lands in the bottom 3, it’s not because he sang bad, it’s “because everybody in America wasn’t ready to look at themselves in the mirror”. WHAT? Excuse me. Just for that comment, I’d be more than happy to see Jacob get the boot tonight.
