Hip Hop star Nicki Minaj will be the opening act for Britney Spears’ during the upcoming Femme Fatale concert tour after Enrique Iglesias decided he was too big (his ego was!) to open for the troubled pop princess.

Nicki is currently on tour with Lil Wayne till the end of the month. On June 17, Nicki and Britney will kick off the Femme Fatale tour in Sacramento, California. And Britney couldn’t be happier to have Nicki with her.

It seems like Britney’s camp is actually relieved Enrique’s ego couldn’t handle being the opening act because Nicki, whose singles “Moment 4 Life” and “Did It On’em” are on Billboards’ Top 100, will most certainly cause a lot more buzz.
