American Idol fans seemed to have not been able to move on after Pia Toscano was shockingly eliminated from the competition last week. Fans are reportedly bombarding FOX and Idol to bring Pia back and get rid of Stefano Langone, who was in the bottom two with Pia.

Fans are desperately asking FOX to bend the rules and make an exception for Pia. They have an organized strategy to get Pia back in the competition – Stefano must get the boot right now! These “fans” apparently think Stefano has no chance of actually winning, so they want to cut his “suffering”.

Some of these sick people even went as far as to ask Stefano to leave the competition right now. Cruel and absolutely absurd. Pretty stupid too. Where were all these fans when Pia actually needed their vote? Most of them didn’t even vote!

So why would Idol ever kick a contestant who has a fan base strong enough to keep him in the competition? Seriously? Pia is out because she was a perfect singer, who could not connect with the audience. She was cold and delivered boring ballads after boring ballads. People got tired of her tricks.

Get over it! Pia seems to be happy right now. She got herself a new boyfriend, Dancing With The Stars pro ballroom dancer Mark Ballas, and is ready to sign a record deal. Idol is a reality show. People vote.

PLUS. According to Idol’s executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, Pia never was a frontrunner. Nigel said, “I know the [voting] results, so I know she was never a frontrunner…The fact of the matter is, it appears that Pia didn’t connect with the audience the way we maybe think she did.”

Stefano, who certainly is not the best singer in the competition (not even close!), got more votes than Pia, the robot. Stefano deserves a chance to perform for America for another week… and for as long as the fans keep him there!
