“What curse?” Petra says. “I don’t think about that.” The 31 year-old becomes the first supermodel to last five weeks in the competition, beating Rachel Hunter, Kathy Ireland, Paulina Porizkova and Josie Maran.

Petra pointed out that her professional dance partner, Dmitry Chaplin, is to blame for her success on DWTS. “You can look at it in different ways. Perhaps Dmitry knows how to work with tall people,” Petra said.

Petra is always so modest and sweet. She is loving being a part of the show and thinks her dance evolution is a miracle. Dmitry is a dance God! The two work great as a dancing couple.

“I am learning how to move my body to music and it’s very hard work but it’s very rewarding,” she says. “I was worried in the beginning because I was unbalanced, un-centered, uncoordinated. I couldn’t do two things at once. But now when I do it, it feels so amazing.”
