Former American Idol contestant, Pia Toscano, who was shockingly eliminated from the competition a couple of weeks ago, was accused of dumping her longtime boyfriend, Queens caterer Carlos Nunes (pictures below), without an explanation to get intimate with Dancing With the Stars pro ballroom dance, Mark Ballas.

Carlos and Pia reportedly met more than four years ago, but she has not exactly been the perfect girlfriend. According to a source close to the couple, Pia didn’t want to engage in PDA or even take pictures with her own boyfriend. The couple broke up a few times over Pia’s outrageous demands.

“She used to jump out of pictures and not be seen around certain people doing certain things because ‘When I’m famous’ . . . ” the source said.

Despite all the signs of diva behavior, Carlos still believed their love could survive the Hollywood challenge. The caterer thought their love was strong, but Pia quickly traded it all for a more glamorous lifestyle. Pia hasn’t really talked to Carlos in a long time.

“I’m confident,” Carlos said. “We’ve been together for a long time. We have a strong foundation. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.”

“They [Pia and Carlos] hadn’t spoken as often as you’d think once she made the final 12,” a source told The Post. “She kind of played a disappearing act. Do you man up and put your foot down? Or do you sit back and hope she does really love and want you?”

Carlos apparently continues to wear his “Team Pia” shirt, in spite of the possible affair with Mark, who Pia allegedly kissed during their dinner date a day after she was voted off Idol.
