With MTV’s The Jersey Shore gearing up for another season, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is kicking her fitness routine into high gear. It seems the endless slew of comments about her weight have finally caught up with the 4’9″ Guidette, who told People that she is now hitting the gym hard and has totally revamped her eating habits.
“[I have] egg whites in the morning and chicken and salads,” Snooki reports. “And if you do drink, it’s gotta be clear liquors.”
And it seems the workouts are playing off! Last week Snooki tweeted a photo of her new slim and trim body to her nearly two million followers. And although I could’ve done without the 4″ peeptoe stilettos and weird shirt/dress ensemble, I have to say, the girl looks good.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as though the road to permanent weight loss will be smooth sailing for the newly svelte Snooki. With Season 4 of The Jersey Shore set to film in Italy, Snooki worried to People that her new diet plan may face a few challenges across the pond:
“All we’re gonna eat is pasta,” she said. “I’m very, very scared – drinking wine and having spaghetti all day [would] throw me off course.”
Best of luck to you Snooki; Julia Roberts gained 10 lbs. while filming Eat, Pray, Love in Italy, but I’m sure you’ll do just fine…
