Socialite Paris Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits was attacked by a man named James Rainford (pictured above), who grabbed him by the neck, right outside the Van Nuys courthouse in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (April 27).

Cy and Paris were just walking into the courthouse, where Paris was set to face Nathan Parada, the man who tried to break into her home in August of 2010. Cy’s security team promptly detained the attacker and turned him over to the LAPD.

According to James, who was previously arrested for sneaking on to Paris’ home in October 2010, he asked the socialite to marry him and she accepted. James also claims he has her daddy, Rick Hilton’s blessing. The guy is totally delusional.

Poor Paris Hilton. Paris collects boyfriends and stalkers. It’s incredible. Cy was just attacked because he is her official boyfriend. James was on a three year probation for civil assault, so he will most likely spend some time behind bars.
