“We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives,” the couple write in their official wedding program, released Thursday. Their message, signed “William” and “Catherine,” goes on to say: “The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.”
Catherine, the bride will walk down the aisle to the choral anthem “I Was Glad” by Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, composed for the coronation of William’s great-great-great grandfather Edward VII at Westminster Abbey in 1902.
No Tweeting During Royal Wedding!
It is also revealed that just like Princess Diana, Catherine will not include “obey” in her wedding vows, but she will vow to “love, comfort, honor and keep” Prince William, who will simply say “With this ring I thee wed” as he slips a wedding band on his bride’s finger.
