Today is the day! One of the most eligible bachelors, Prince William, will marry his longtime girlfriend/fiancé Catherine “Kate” Middleton, in a lavish ceremony at the Westminster Abbey that is expected to be watched by more than 2 billion people worldwide.

Royal Wedding Live Blog Updates

9:10 am (London time): The guests arrive and take their seats at the Westminster Abbey. The most important Royal families of the world are invited to the big event. 1900 guests are invited to the wedding ceremony at the Abbey.

9:20 am: There are Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. Victoria is pregnant and wears an elegant blue dress with the typical ridiculous hat. She looks incredible. David looks way too serious!

9:33 am: The Westminster Abbey is gorgeous. The guests take their seats. Everything is on schedule. The ladies wear ridiculous hats – it’s all about who wears the most ridiculous and incredible hat design.

9:36 am: Prince William and Kate will officially tie the knot in 1 hour and 15 minute ceremony at the Abbey. The moment we all will be waiting for: Kate and William head to the Buckingham Palace and appear as a married couple on the balcony, where they are expected to exchange a kiss. I’m a romantic, I know! That’s at 1:15 pm (London time).

9:44 am: Kate Middleton and her father Michael Middleton will leave the Goring Hotel, where the Middleton family spent the night, and head to the Abbey at 10:51 am.

9:46 am: Elton John and his partner David Furnish arrive at the Abbey.

9:58 am: While we wait for Prince William to head to the Abbey, let’s talk about fashion. Kate Middleton is expected to wear a tiara and have her hair in an elegant updo (more details/photo here). Prince Harry‘s girlfriend, Chelsea Davy, who’s already at the Abbey, is wearing a aqua green dress by Alberta Ferretti (photos here). 10:07 am: Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha arrive.

10:12 am: Prince William and Prince Harry left Clarence House and head to the Westminster Abbey. William and Harry wave to the people on the streets. They have been there for days to catch a glimpse. Prince William arrives at Westminster Abbey. The bells ring.

10:20 am: Kate Middleton will be the last to arrive. Of course! The international Royal families arrive. And next are the bride’s family. Prince William has chosen to wear the uniform of Colonel of the Irish Guards. Prince Harry wears the uniform of a Captain of the Household Cavalry.

10:32 am: Kate’s mother and brother, Carole Middleton and James Middleton, arrive.

10:38 am: Prince Charles and Camila, Duchess of Cornwall head to the Westminster Abbey. Queen Elizabeth II is on her way to the Westminster Abbey too.

10:51 am: Kate Middleton leaves the Goring hotel. First glimpse at the Royal Wedding Dress. Kate, her father Michael Middleton and sister/maid of honor Pippa Middleton, head to the Westminster Abbey.

10:55 am: Maid of honor, Pippa Middleton, arrives with the kids. How cute!! Kate Middleton is wearing Alexander McQueen. This information has not been officially confirmed yet.

10:59 am: Kate Middleton arrives!! Now, let’s take a look at that dress!! GORGEOUS! Confirmed: the wedding dress is a Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen.

11:01 am: The Royal Wedding ceremony begins. Kate walks down the aisle to meet Prince William. Kate looks nervous. She is going to cry any minute now.

11:16 am: Prince William and Kate Middleton say their vows. Kate looks so stunningly gorgeous. Prince William and Kate are officially married. William and Catherine become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

11:53 am: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are married. The newlyweds and their witnesses are now going to sign the papers to make it official.

12:08 am: The newlyweds leave Westminster Chapel to head to the Buckingham Palace. They arrive at the Palace. The Queen is not far behind. Princess Diana would be proud.

12:30 am: Queen is followed by Prince Charles and Camila. They are all at the Palace to celebrate the wedding with a reception attended by only 600 of the 1900 guests that were invited to the ceremony at the Abbey.

12:51 am: Now we have to wait before Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, appear at the Buckingham Palace balcony and share their first kiss.

12:55 am: The Royal guards lead the people to the Buckingham Palace. People wave their flags. These people have been camping for days to be able to see the Royal Wedding as close as possible.

1:25 pm: Kate and William are in the balcony for the first royal wedding. And they KISS. That was a lame kiss. Modern couple should be able to deliver a modern kiss… a French kiss. LOL.

1:29 pm: And they kiss AGAIN! Now that looked a lot better. The Royal Airforce pay homage to the newly wedded couple. And that’s it! 600 guests will attend the royal wedding reception at the Buckingham Palace and only 300 guests are invited to diner hosted by Prince Charles.
