FOX had scheduled the ‘Animation Domination’ this Sunday, but has released a statement about rescheduling the event out of respect for the 300 people who died this week in the tornado outbreak in the Southern Midwest:

“In light of the recent storms that have affected the nation, Fox has decided to postpone the crossover episodes that were originally scheduled to air this Sunday.”

The show will now be aired in Spring 2012.

S. Victor Whitmill, the tattoo artist who gave Mike Tyson his famous facial ink, has filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction against Warner Bros. that would prevent the studio from releasing their highly-anticipated film The Hangover Part 2.

In the film, Ed Helms’ character wakes up after a long night of partying with a facial tattoo like Tyson’s. The court papers read:

“When Mr. Whitmill created the Original Tattoo, Mr. Tyson agreed that Mr. Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the Original Tattoo. Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. – without attempting to contact Mr. Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation – has copied Mr. Whitmill’s Original Tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor … This unauthorized exploitation of the Original Tattoo constitutes copyright infringement.”

The Hollywood Reporter points out that it’s going to be rather difficult for Warner Bros. to argue that the tattoos are ”coincidentally similar” because it appears that Helms’ tattoo is a “direct comedic reference to Tyson,” who appeared in the first movie.

‘Hangover 2′ Plot Details Revealed

The studio will either be forced to copyright isn’t valid or they’ll be settling with Whitmill, who calls the ink ”one of the most distinctive tattoos in the nation.
