British pop star Ellie Goulding had the distinct privilege of performing at the royal wedding reception of newlyweds Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton of Cambridge.

The singer was reportedly the only singer invited to perform at the bash, where 300 of the couple’s closest friends and family came together to celebrate the nuptials. Goulding, 24, said:

“It was an amazing honor to be asked by Kate and William to perform at their party. The atmosphere was incredible and it is a night I’ll never forget!”

One of the guests reported that Goulding sang her rendition of Elton John‘s “Your Song,” as well as her hit “Starry-Eyed.”
